Job Description:
Marketing student interested in gaining experience working with community service and/or non-profit organization and to apply academic theory to real business situations.
Duration: Summer break - depends upon availability
Skills: Good verbal communication Organization / Project management Experience w/event planning Exemplary customer service Excellent writing skills and copy edit Ability to build and maintain relationships w/local business and organizations Working knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Research capabilities; primarily internet Basic graphic capability Experience w/non-profits - a plus Multi-tasking - a must Must be detail oriented and flexible Reporting - measurable standards for efforts Follow-up
Course credit will be given where applicable.
